I’m Lacey. There’s more about me on the “About Me” page, linked above but a few quick tidbits. I love making my clients feel like their best selves. I love coffee in all its forms. Cooking whatever Alison Roman suggests. Growing anything and everything. Flowers! Food! The beach at sunset with my babies racing in the waves. My love for photography started over 13 years ago...
I learned that I could help others feel good about themselves, by showing them in their best light with photography. I loved watching others come to life, seeing their beauty & joy captured in my photos.
Since then it’s been a roller coaster ride! I’ve had the pleasure of working in many different areas of photography and truly honing my craft before settling in to shoot senior portraits full time. It’s my passion!
I’m a mom of 4 to my 8 year old, 5 year old and identical twin 3 year olds, wife to my amazing husband Price for 13 years who sometimes helps me out on shoots, avid home cook, amateur gardener and so much more.
I went to college to study elementary education, and fell in love with my children’s psychology courses, & working closely with lots of different people. When I spent a semester getting to work one-on-one with at-risk kids, one major thing I noticed time after time was that self esteem and confidence were lacking across the board. I realized quickly that this close relationship where I’m working at building confidence & self esteem was a calling for me. When I started working in photography, especially with teenagers, I was amazed at how quickly and effectively I could build their self esteem with beautiful images and a positive once in a lifetime experience. I feel so much joy knowing how this enhances and uplifts so many areas of their lives. One of the main goals of my business is to infuse my clients with confidence and help them realize how beautiful & special they each are as individuals.
